But we had high dust the whole night, hovering just under the closure limit. Seeing was pretty good until we had to close around 03:30 am due to approaching radar and clouds that were getting too thick to punch through. The UW02 class did a great job with their first night on sky! No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:36 tcamera 326( 1356) 206 66 16.9 18.8 18.6 18.3 16.9 MKs 0.97 21:37 dcamera 383( 968) 204 60 16.8 17.3 17.6 16.9 16.6 -- 1.12 00:08 dcamera 494( 1012) 196 49 16.6 15.7 16.3 15.5 15.7 -- 1.10 00:15 dcamera 503( 1011) 204 44 16.4 15.4 15.9 15.3 15.7 -- 1.45 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 69 44 12 208 (SSW) 4569 mstly clr dust 17:00 71 41 15 218 (SW) 4186 mstly clr dust 18:00 66 37 14 243 (WSW) 4204 mstly clr dust 19:00 66 39 14 212 (SSW) 4448 mstly clr dust 20:00 61 38 6 191 (S) 4077 ptly cldy dust 21:00 63 36 10 197 (SSW) 4271 ptly cldy dust 22:00 62 36 10 191 (S) 4549 mstly clr dust 23:00 62 37 9 184 (S) 4762 mstly clr dust 00:00 62 37 10 194 (SSW) 4874 mstly clr dust 01:00 62 39 8 176 (S) 5225 ptly cldy dust 02:00 61 39 12 211 (SSW) 5281 mstly cldy dust 03:00 61 40 11 207 (SSW) 4875 mstly cldy dust 04:00 57 42 18 188 (S) 5709 mstly cldy dust 05:00 57 43 16 188 (S) 5223 mstly cldy dust Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
