We had two motion errors early in the night at 20:57 and 22:33, both at about alt = 52 Thick orographic clouds precluded observing. We initially tried to focus on a 1st magnitude star with no luck. We were able focus and observe a standard star, but couldn't get any science. We kept the dome open because the weather wasn't threatening, but it also wasn't useful. DIS grating turret detent failed to disengage, so we had to stay in high resolution for the 2nd program of the night, and started a few minutes late.
