It was pretty warm today outside and up in the dome, so maybe not too surprising. I needed to do a nicfps init as well. Black/white bar in the test images. This fixed the problem. Clouds moved in around 04:30 and my observer was no longer able to observe on sky. I decided to close as there was some possible radar returns approaching and it was completely cloudy. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 22:21 ecamera 189( 35) 154 57 19.8 21.1 21.4 20.8 19.8 clear 1.17 02:28 arctic 531( 1392) 93 58 19.4 19.3 19.9 19.2 19.1 SDSS_G 1.16 02:29 NA2gdr 4017(38017) 93 58 19.6 19.3 19.9 19.2 19.0 clear 1.15 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 78 33 7 353 (N) 1141 cloudy none 17:00 80 36 11 325 (NW) 1223 cloudy lt rain 18:00 74 32 23 299 (WNW) 10362 cloudy rain 19:00 69 34 9 326 (NW) 9155 cloudy none 20:00 70 31 10 354 (N) 1049 cloudy none 21:00 68 34 10 322 (NW) 2119 cloudy none 22:00 68 34 7 292 (WNW) 1042 ptly cldy none 23:00 67 34 5 349 (N) 935 mstly clr none 00:00 68 34 8 342 (NNW) 1144 mstly clr none 01:00 69 33 10 359 (N) 1214 ptly cldy none 02:00 68 33 10 4 (N) 1427 ptly cldy none 03:00 67 32 13 7 (N) 1569 mstly clr none 04:00 67 32 17 10 (N) 1867 mstly cldy none 05:00 67 30 14 19 (NNE) 1970 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
