Observing Specialist: D.DeColibus
Clear and rather warm.
The Agile rotator threw a motion error at about 00:08. It was near the end of its travel, but not quite; it was tracking an object at 0 sky rotation. When the error sounded, the rotator was at mount position 162.8, while the target rotation was about 165 mount. I re-initialized the rotator and the observer tried slewing to obj again (by this time the target rotation was about 168 mount) and it completed this without complaining. We rotated the field by about 120 degrees to have some room to track, then finished out the rest of the half without issue.
B-half was uneventful and productive. I did another test of the ARCTIC skyflat script at sunrise, with great results; we got 5 good skyflats in B,V,R,I and Halpha.
