I did a startNubs gcam which didn't fix it, and actually produced a different error (see below). 2021-04-05 23:32:30 APO.APO-Jack.gcam 4 gcamera f text="libapogee:GenOneLinuxUSB.cpp(476):UsbRequestIn failed with error -1. RequestCode = c2 : Index = 65 : Value = 0:1\"" I then did a startNubs gcamera followed with a startNubs gcam to reset the connections. This seemed to solve the issue. Pesky clouds came in around 22:30. We switched to TSPEC at 23:30 but the clouds grew worse and hampered TSPEC observations. The 1st half observer used the time anyhow as a refresher in using the instrument. 2nd half had clouds and some periods of clearing, so we basically fought the clouds as well all night. No issues with the 3.5m tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:10 dcamera 578( 1028) 21 55 12.6 14.3 14.2 14.1 12.9 -- 1.09 23:49 tcamera 422( 1113) 17 56 11.6 11.4 12.2 11.4 11.6 Ks 1.12 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 60 19 23 256 (WSW) 1667 cloudy none 17:00 59 19 15 244 (WSW) 1605 cloudy none 18:00 58 14 21 258 (WSW) 1399 cloudy none 19:00 58 15 22 262 (W) 1145 ptly cldy none 20:00 54 11 18 258 (WSW) 1039 clear none 21:00 55 12 18 250 (WSW) 898 clear none 22:00 53 10 17 262 (W) 1032 ptly cldy none 23:00 53 9 17 249 (WSW) 1206 ptly cldy none 00:00 52 9 18 262 (W) 1202 mstly cldy none 01:00 52 9 18 271 (W) 1055 mstly cldy none 02:00 51 6 19 276 (W) 1053 ptly cldy none 03:00 50 7 16 273 (W) 1044 ptly cldy none 04:00 48 5 22 271 (W) 1052 mstly cldy none 05:00 46 5 17 271 (W) 1036 mstly cldy none 06:00 46 5 16 267 (W) 1115 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
