They finished a little early, as their transit was over, and we closed to allow them take some cals. I didn't re-open since the clouds at that point were pretty bad. We had a clearing about 01:00 and I re-opened for the 2nd program. The 2nd program gave up a few minutes early as the clouds came back and again were a little too thick to observe. We opened for the 3rd program and they fought clouds for the entire remainder of the night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:13 arctic 671( 1264) 130 72 12.3 13.8 13.6 13.3 12.3 sdss_i 0.75 01:20 tcamera 395( 1054) 92 65 10.0 10.9 11.5 10.9 10.2 Ks 1.10 02:45 NICFPS 304( 1206) 220 61 9.3 9.6 10.3 9.5 9.3 Ks 0.93 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 62 17 17 260 (W) 1055 ptly cldy none 17:00 60 15 19 254 (WSW) 1006 mstly cldy none 18:00 61 17 18 219 (SW) 987 mstly cldy none 19:00 57 12 15 220 (SW) 976 ptly cldy none 20:00 54 9 18 213 (SSW) 1069 ptly cldy none 21:00 54 9 20 206 (SSW) 1626 mstly cldy none 22:00 53 8 19 196 (SSW) 1209 cloudy none 23:00 54 8 20 218 (SW) 1252 cloudy none 00:00 52 8 15 216 (SW) 1064 cloudy none 01:00 52 7 18 227 (SW) 1149 ptly cldy none 02:00 50 5 17 250 (WSW) 1180 mstly cldy none 03:00 48 6 18 262 (W) 1691 cloudy none 04:00 48 5 15 263 (W) 1037 cloudy none 05:00 47 5 17 268 (W) 1283 cloudy none 06:00 46 4 19 265 (W) 1055 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
