It's quite nice! You may have to adjust mouse sensitivity in the Mac settings to suit your tastes. Some clouds started to roll in from the west around 01:00 and pestered us the rest of the night. ARCSAT told the observer "You can't stop User's run" when they attempted to abort a script that was hung, around 00:30. The backend on the desktop looked like it was stuck with a 'open plan' dialog box open. I closed that dialog and the telescope worked again. ARCSAT got stuck on exposing during a pointing update around 04:00. I ran an exposure through Maxim manually, which brought it back to reality. ARCSAT got stuck during a pointing update, again, at 04:30. This time it required two manual exposures to remind it to work properly. ARCSAT got stuck reading out an exposure at 04:50. I tried running manual exposures with no effect, and ACP froze completely. I had to restart all of the software. ARCSAT got stuck on a lamp flat at 05:20. The user was able to abort the script but I had to turn off the flat lamp manually. At this point, the user called it a night. UW04 is running a long set of darks on Agile; please keep the dome dark until after 8 AM. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:21 AGILE 490(-1346) 169 80 7.2 9.0 9.1 8.5 7.2 BG40 1.22 22:47 AGILE 500(-1440) 240 61 7.0 6.6 7.2 6.4 6.7 BG40 1.18 23:05 AGILE 490(-1442) 155 40 6.9 6.4 7.1 6.3 6.4 BG40 1.48 03:31 AGILE 480(-1545) 19 79 5.0 5.0 5.5 5.0 5.4 BG40 1.75 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 53 14 11 264 (W) 1283 clear none 17:00 54 14 17 199 (SSW) 1619 clear none 18:00 51 15 14 188 (S) 1662 clear none 19:00 49 13 13 184 (S) 1815 clear none 20:00 45 12 18 204 (SSW) 2927 clear none 21:00 45 15 13 186 (S) 2487 clear none 22:00 45 15 16 202 (SSW) 2642 clear none 23:00 44 16 15 213 (SSW) 2361 clear none 00:00 44 15 13 197 (SSW) 2128 mstly clr none 01:00 43 15 13 210 (SSW) 2036 ptly cldy none 02:00 42 15 14 191 (S) 2126 ptly cldy none 03:00 42 18 13 194 (SSW) 2313 ptly cldy none 04:00 42 18 19 202 (SSW) 2585 ptly cldy none 05:00 41 19 14 195 (SSW) 2567 ptly cldy none 06:00 40 18 10 185 (S) 2899 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
