The seeing was never very good but everyone was able to take their data. The OU01 class powered through B half like champs and got the first of their three nights under their belt! NM01 needed the DIS 5" slit in the slit wheel, which means I had to pull the wheel out. But I made all new masks for the wheel. No problems tonight. Telescope parked at az -40. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:47 dcamera 473( 585) 158 66 5.7 7.3 7.6 6.9 5.9 -- 1.78 01:23 dcamera 517( 551) -121 61 6.1 5.6 6.2 5.7 5.9 -- 1.20 02:36 AGILE 515(-1443) -3 46 6.5 6.0 6.4 6.3 6.4 BG40 1.46 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 47 11 5 120 (ESE) 2108 mstly cldy none 17:00 47 11 7 231 (SW) 2162 mstly cldy none 18:00 47 11 5 207 (SSW) 2311 mstly cldy none 19:00 46 12 1 181 (S) 2349 mstly cldy none 20:00 45 12 15 176 (S) 2732 mstly cldy none 21:00 46 16 9 209 (SSW) 3173 ptly cldy none 22:00 43 22 13 181 (S) 2296 mstly clr none 23:00 43 24 15 183 (S) 2122 mstly clr none 00:00 43 25 14 181 (S) 2121 clear none 01:00 43 28 17 182 (S) 2367 mstly clr none 02:00 42 29 15 178 (S) 2301 mstly clr none 03:00 43 30 15 182 (S) 2791 ptly cldy none 04:00 43 31 7 177 (S) 2511 mstly cldy none 05:00 42 31 8 154 (SSE) 2460 mstly clr none 06:00 42 31 6 185 (S) 2524 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
