No clouds or wind, there was some dust after midnight that was at borderline of closing but we were able to make it through until dawn. Seeing was moderate and the CU class got a ton of targets on sky! Enough to take some time at the end and do some "eye piece" observing. Fun was had by all! No problems tonight ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:44 dcamera 536( 719) 121 41 5.6 8.5 8.0 8.3 6.3 -- 1.45 20:04 dcamera 500( 652) 120 45 4.7 7.8 7.4 7.5 5.6 -- 1.52 21:35 dcamera 461( 513) 87 29 5.4 5.5 5.8 4.8 5.3 -- 1.57 01:23 dcamera 484( 480) 198 50 5.0 4.6 5.4 4.7 4.9 -- 1.65 05:54 dcamera 587( 574) -31 69 4.9 4.4 4.8 4.6 4.8 -- 1.20 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 50 12 14 235 (SW) 1865 clear none 17:00 51 11 6 256 (WSW) 2040 clear none 18:00 50 12 11 233 (SW) 1956 clear none 19:00 45 11 8 218 (SW) 1852 clear none 20:00 40 11 5 184 (S) 2090 clear none 21:00 40 12 7 134 (SE) 2127 clear none 22:00 41 8 1 182 (S) 1935 clear none 23:00 42 4 6 187 (S) 1488 clear none 00:00 41 11 8 185 (S) 2274 clear none 01:00 42 11 3 164 (SSE) 2353 clear none 02:00 42 12 6 161 (SSE) 3327 clear dust 03:00 41 13 11 187 (S) 4512 clear dust 04:00 39 14 9 182 (S) 5364 clear dust 05:00 42 13 9 183 (S) 5262 clear dust 06:00 40 15 8 184 (S) 5122 clear dust Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
