When our ARCSAT user logged in and tried to take calibrations, ARCSAT told them "You must be an administrator to turn on the camera", and the Observatory and Imager fields in the ACP interface were both showing as "Offline". When I attempted to disconnect the camera from the ACP control window on the desktop, it reported "The remote server machine does not exist or is unavailable." The camera still appeared to be connected in Maxim, and taking an image seemed to be successful. I restarted ACP and all was well from then on. We opened at about 19:00 once the winds relaxed a little. The seeing started off bad, and thin clouds pestered us throughout the evening, but did not cause major issues. We closed up about 05:30. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:12 dcamera 708( 767) 121 40 4.8 5.8 5.4 5.6 4.8 -- 2.64 21:43 dcamera 519( 441) 151 79 3.4 3.4 4.1 3.3 3.2 -- 1.46 00:25 tcamera 412( 611) 141 58 1.3 1.0 1.9 0.9 1.1 Ks 1.81 01:52 ecamera 473( -650) -64 76 1.0 0.7 1.5 0.9 1.2 Clear 1.41 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 46 6 29 241 (WSW) 1306 clear none 17:00 47 3 23 247 (WSW) 1371 clear none 18:00 43 0 26 265 (W) 1689 clear none 19:00 40 -2 21 248 (WSW) 2701 clear none 20:00 40 -2 22 248 (WSW) 1978 mstly clr none 21:00 39 -4 19 240 (WSW) 2017 mstly clr none 22:00 38 -7 26 237 (WSW) 2489 ptly cldy none 23:00 37 -2 21 248 (WSW) 2152 ptly cldy none 00:00 34 -2 13 244 (WSW) 1176 mstly clr none 01:00 33 0 21 237 (WSW) 1329 mstly clr none 02:00 34 -1 11 237 (WSW) 1279 mstly clr none 03:00 34 -3 11 237 (WSW) 1065 clear none 04:00 34 -7 13 249 (WSW) 793 clear none 05:00 34 -11 17 256 (WSW) 563 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
