Opened after sunset for sky flats, then closed before dark enough to focus due to wind. Opened for observations, then closed due to dust. After that, dust and wind alternated being too high until morning twilight, but fortunately the scheduled program was able to use twilight time. I definitely got my steps in! ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:29 AGILE 525(-1472) 120 44 4.6 5.1 5.5 4.8 4.6 BG40 1.63 05:21 tcamera 250( 353) -20 71 -4.4 -0.9 0.2 -1.6 -3.3 Ks 1.83 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 43 20 24 241 (WSW) 372 clear none 17:00 43 20 23 252 (WSW) 465 clear none 18:00 42 16 26 254 (WSW) 365 clear none 19:00 41 17 27 248 (WSW) 455 clear none 20:00 42 18 27 256 (WSW) 692 clear none 21:00 40 18 26 260 (W) 3661 clear dust 22:00 40 18 34 247 (WSW) 9307 clear dust 23:00 39 14 41 251 (WSW) 6015 clear dust 00:00 37 12 36 270 (W) 793 clear none 01:00 35 9 41 261 (W) 808 clear none 02:00 32 3 31 268 (W) 31820 clear dust 03:00 31 2 23 277 (W) 4907 clear dust 04:00 28 1 32 285 (WNW) 1823 clear none 05:00 26 3 18 318 (NW) 1420 clear none 06:00 22 9 18 352 (N) 886 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
