We opened but UW03 decided to use AGILE instead of DIS due to the remaining clouds. AGILE guider stopped working and I had to do hub startNubs afocus. Motion error at 01:42; alt 45 moving upwards at the very start of the slew. Variable but mostly thin clouds for the rest of the night, but we were able to observe through them. OU02 finished observations at the start of twilight and then took in-dome cals. Telescope parked at alt 20 due to cold temperatures. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:38 AGILE 396(-1412) 44 57 3.4 3.6 3.9 3.6 3.3 BG40 1.50 22:10 AGILE 525(-1367) 79 48 2.9 1.7 3.1 2.5 2.7 BG40 1.70 00:22 dcamera 548( 648) 19 43 2.1 1.2 2.5 2.0 1.9 -- 1.63 02:58 kosmos 325( 555) 186 70 2.1 0.7 1.7 1.2 1.4 -- 1.19 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 40 16 14 230 (SW) 654 cloudy none 17:00 39 14 8 254 (WSW) 689 cloudy none 18:00 39 16 19 232 (SW) 721 cloudy none 19:00 38 18 19 209 (SSW) 860 ptly cldy none 20:00 38 19 14 222 (SW) 749 ptly cldy none 21:00 38 20 16 256 (WSW) 849 ptly cldy none 22:00 37 19 16 265 (W) 844 mstly clr none 23:00 37 19 16 258 (WSW) 828 mstly clr none 00:00 36 19 17 225 (SW) 912 mstly clr none 01:00 35 18 11 261 (W) 873 mstly clr none 02:00 36 16 12 273 (W) 842 mstly clr none 03:00 36 15 20 280 (W) 704 mstly clr none 04:00 35 15 19 290 (WNW) 664 mstly clr none 05:00 34 15 17 277 (W) 637 mstly clr none 06:00 34 15 16 272 (W) 621 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
