We tried to do some pointing tests before sunset based on noticing that pointing was a bit off with DIS and KOSMOS last night, but ran into a few problems that ran a little into APOLLO time, but there were also some clouds. As has happened a few times recently, the tertiary would not move to NA2. We updated the port map with a better position. Then none of the eyelids would open, and had to cycle the mirror covers. After this we tried to do a quick pointing update, but it wasn’t quite right—instead we used an offset the worked for the NA2 instruments tonight. At 22:24 we closed the dome due to elevated particle counts and the smell of smoke. We reopened at 22:55 when particle counts came down and didn't seem to be rising again, but with the intex fans off, press fans on, louvers closed and intermediate door closed as a precaution. By midnight the particle counts seemed stable and we switched back to the normal fan/louvers configuration. Focus value for dcam is at high airmass.
