We opened for a nice hole in the clouds, then closed when the clouds came back. After that the radar was less worrisome so we remained open through some more waves of clouds, but I did count some extra time lost because sometimes it wasn't possible to get data. Second half was mostly clear with moderate seeing, and everything worked fairly well. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:50 dcamera 464( 752) -31 48 5.1 5.3 5.5 5.3 5.0 - 1.26 21:33 dcamera 464( 737) -61 34 5.9 4.8 5.1 4.8 5.2 - 1.67 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 42 15 9 206 (SSW) 379 mstly cldy none 17:00 40 19 9 214 (SW) 556 mstly cldy none 18:00 40 18 8 251 (WSW) 431 mstly cldy none 19:00 42 17 10 261 (W) 198 mstly cldy none 20:00 41 19 7 270 (W) 186 ptly cldy none 21:00 42 18 8 268 (W) 182 ptly cldy none 22:00 40 18 9 267 (W) 155 ptly cldy none 23:00 42 10 13 288 (WNW) 164 mstly clr none 00:00 41 12 10 324 (NW) 203 clear none 01:00 42 12 14 298 (WNW) 128 clear none 02:00 41 13 12 277 (W) 200 clear none 03:00 40 13 13 296 (WNW) 225 clear none 04:00 39 12 16 301 (WNW) 209 clear none 05:00 38 11 12 305 (NW) 258 clear none 06:00 40 8 15 309 (NW) 260 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
