NM02 opened a little after sunset in order to finish up their epic cals. I did a quick and dirty fixed to the NAIC instrument block in order to improve pointing (it did!). Clouds starting rolling in around midnight and it got pretty cloudy, but we were able to punch through. We saw more comets! Sadly, not more moon. Maybe next time. No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 00:01 arctic 414( 954) -43 41 6.8 5.8 6.5 5.6 6.0 sdss-g 1.24 03:31 ecamera 378( -248) 20 50 4.6 4.6 5.4 4.5 4.8 ND2 0.87 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 48 17 6 359 (N) 552 clear none 17:00 47 3 4 347 (NNW) 64 clear none 18:00 45 3 4 347 (NNW) 42 mstly clr none 19:00 45 3 5 349 (N) 21 mstly clr none 20:00 45 2 4 358 (N) 32 clear none 21:00 45 0 6 355 (N) 39 mstly clr none 22:00 45 0 4 355 (N) 39 ptly cldy none 23:00 44 4 5 341 (NNW) 19 ptly cldy none 00:00 44 8 9 314 (NW) 83 mstly cldy none 01:00 42 11 6 293 (WNW) 136 mstly cldy none 02:00 43 7 12 279 (W) 58 mstly cldy none 03:00 43 9 10 294 (WNW) 88 mstly cldy none 04:00 40 9 13 333 (NNW) 123 mstly clr none 05:00 42 8 10 323 (NW) 68 clear none 06:00 43 1 7 3 (N) 56 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
