Sure sky flats were insanely hectic, but everyone started getting the hang of things quickly. We had some clouds at the beginning of the night that cleared out near switch over. Amazing seeing all night!! Which, of course, was very much appreciated when it came time to mount the eyepiece. No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:24 arctic 497( 1480) 268 40 14.1 15.3 15.0 14.9 14.1 SDSS_r 1.13 20:42 arctic 435( 1331) 41 63 13.5 13.8 14.2 13.5 13.6 SDSS_r 1.06 22:29 arctic 423( 1291) 16 56 13.6 13.1 13.7 13.1 13.3 SDSS_g 0.80 01:29 AGILE 450( -885) 30 30 13.8 13.2 13.7 13.3 13.2 BG40 0.90 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 60 36 12 228 (SW) 417 ptly cldy none 17:00 62 37 16 229 (SW) 409 ptly cldy none 18:00 61 37 14 234 (SW) 375 ptly cldy none 19:00 56 36 15 205 (SSW) 330 ptly cldy none 20:00 57 37 17 210 (SSW) 419 mstly clr none 21:00 56 36 13 198 (SSW) 293 mstly clr none 22:00 57 36 15 219 (SW) 273 mstly clr none 23:00 56 35 17 236 (SW) 299 ptly cldy none 00:00 57 34 15 233 (SW) 440 mstly clr none 01:00 57 35 14 247 (WSW) 447 mstly clr none 02:00 56 36 15 220 (SW) 452 clear none 03:00 56 37 15 223 (SW) 389 clear none 04:00 56 36 18 220 (SW) 350 clear none 05:00 55 36 15 236 (SW) 304 clear none 06:00 55 34 12 249 (WSW) 349 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
