Second half of the night was mostly clear. KOSMOS got to take a few more spectra, and we got to test more of its focus quirks. We closed up around twilight for calibrations and finished shortly after. During checkout DIS failed to expose and then the ARCTIC exposure hung because it couldn’t find the directory. With lots of help from Bill we determined that a few of the folders in the forTron directory were missing on hub35m. We re-created these folders and then had to do hub startNubs disExpose, then DIS worked. We tried hub startNubs arcticExpose and hub startNubs arctic with no luck, and had to do arctic init to get ARCTIC to take images again. This resulted in a dropped quad, as expected. I recovered the quad. I also power cycled the optical cloud camera and reset its router, so it's unfrozen again, and relabeled the KOSMOS reflective slits currently in the black box from BLUE-->LOW and RED-->HIGH. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:18 dcamera 735( 1459) 95 57 11.2 14.7 13.7 14.6 12.9 -- 1.23 01:53 kosmos 350( 827) 43 68 10.6 10.2 10.8 10.2 10.4 -- 0.84 04:20 kimage 500( 997) -155 50 11.2 10.4 10.9 10.3 10.8 -- 0.85 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 58 40 4 237 (WSW) 440 mstly clr none 17:00 60 39 17 233 (SW) 389 mstly clr none 18:00 57 38 6 237 (WSW) 441 clear none 19:00 53 36 5 196 (SSW) 464 ptly cldy none 20:00 54 35 5 236 (SW) 512 ptly cldy none 21:00 55 34 8 209 (SSW) 507 ptly cldy none 22:00 54 32 8 236 (SW) 453 mstly clr none 23:00 52 33 11 245 (WSW) 375 mstly clr none 00:00 52 35 10 264 (W) 404 mstly clr none 01:00 53 36 12 279 (W) 436 mstly clr none 02:00 52 35 14 292 (WNW) 413 mstly clr none 03:00 52 36 12 268 (W) 412 mstly clr none 04:00 52 32 18 295 (WNW) 419 clear none 05:00 52 32 16 275 (W) 444 clear none 06:00 52 33 17 296 (WNW) 449 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
