During shutter replacement Bill forgot to connect a cable to the camera. The observer started a 9999 exposure sequence with KOSMOS. Unfortunately we don't have an easy way currently to abort or stop the exposures. About 40 mins before the end Russet attempted to stop the exposure sequence but unfortunately it was a bit more complicated and she needed to drive into the site to fix the issue. Russet quickly got things back in shape once she arrived. No problems second half. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:08 kosmos 566( 1112) 88 66 8.1 11.7 10.2 11.3 11.4 -- 0.88 01:31 kosmos 411( 837) -39 52 9.7 8.9 9.6 9.1 9.2 -- 1.00 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 55 11 7 242 (WSW) 421 mstly clr none 17:00 53 14 5 259 (W) 614 mstly clr none 18:00 52 20 7 253 (WSW) 778 mstly clr none 19:00 48 18 6 256 (WSW) 739 mstly clr none 20:00 50 18 8 229 (SW) 749 mstly clr none 21:00 49 22 10 212 (SSW) 865 mstly clr none 22:00 49 21 10 227 (SW) 739 mstly clr none 23:00 49 23 7 257 (WSW) 690 mstly clr none 00:00 50 21 12 299 (WNW) 591 mstly clr none 01:00 50 21 10 278 (W) 608 mstly clr none 02:00 49 22 14 312 (NW) 628 mstly clr none 03:00 48 22 15 308 (NW) 691 mstly clr none 04:00 49 20 13 308 (NW) 592 mstly clr none 05:00 50 22 19 322 (NW) 508 mstly clr none 06:00 50 24 15 316 (NW) 537 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
