FG01 finished about 15 minutes into twilight when the sky got too bright to continue. I got a few motion error in altitude at as I was parking the telescope at 06:30. After cleaning the very smeared out remains of a moth off the alt drive this problem was resolved and I was able to park the telescope. We had no other problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:54 ecamera 462( 31) 273 41 6.5 8.6 7.7 8.4 7.2 ND4 1.41 01:24 ecamera 398( -292) 67 59 4.9 3.4 4.4 3.3 3.8 ND3 0.96 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 52 13 3 202 (SSW) 1076 clear none 17:00 48 11 3 235 (SW) 1159 clear none 18:00 46 10 1 205 (SSW) 1194 clear none 19:00 44 12 10 147 (SSE) 1262 clear none 20:00 40 16 5 182 (S) 845 clear none 21:00 39 15 5 82 (E) 807 clear none 22:00 40 13 2 116 (ESE) 883 clear none 23:00 40 14 1 132 (SE) 818 clear none 00:00 41 15 1 210 (SSW) 1081 clear none 01:00 41 12 1 276 (W) 1574 clear none 02:00 39 14 5 193 (SSW) 694 clear none 03:00 39 13 2 200 (SSW) 804 clear none 04:00 40 10 7 188 (S) 1601 clear none 05:00 41 11 3 103 (ESE) 1401 clear none 06:00 44 9 2 200 (SSW) 815 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
