The Dataq computer appears frozen. I could not close the Dataq windows or even access the Apple icons/menus. Both CPUs seem to be running at 100% as well. The mouse was responsive but nothing else. Eventually I got a spinning color pie wheel. We finally got on the sky around 23:20, with the wind kicking back up around 23:50. We stayed open the remainder of the night with no porblems other than pesky clouds forming on us. I did not do Echelle IOL because the observer was doing cals. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 56 31 24 215 (SW) 1199 mstly clr none 17:00 52 28 26 213 (SSW) 1457 mstly clr none 18:00 53 32 26 208 (SSW) 1426 ptly cldy none 19:00 51 32 25 216 (SW) 1387 cloudy none 20:00 52 32 17 221 (SW) 1334 cloudy none 21:00 52 29 20 218 (SW) 3330 cloudy none 22:00 50 28 23 209 (SSW) 2883 cloudy none 23:00 49 29 22 207 (SSW) 1993 mstly cldy none 00:00 48 31 27 207 (SSW) 1339 mstly clr none 01:00 47 31 25 217 (SW) 1270 mstly clr none 02:00 47 32 17 205 (SSW) 1132 mstly clr none 03:00 47 32 20 191 (S) 1219 mstly clr none 04:00 46 32 26 183 (S) 1505 ptly cldy none 05:00 45 32 26 206 (SSW) 1504 ptly cldy none 06:00 45 32 28 199 (SSW) 1667 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
