The wind was around 30 mph from the NE, but the telescope struggled quite a bit in the NNW where I could see the azimuth struggling. Then one position in the NE was not all that bad, which made me wonder if the wind direction was different for the dome vs the anemometer. Second half started out clear but some high clouds moved in halfway through ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:48 ecamera 559( -570) -109 47 0.0 0.2 0.5 0.1 -0.0 ND3 0.85 00:19 dcamera 468( 307) -51 42 2.3 1.2 1.9 1.6 2.1 - 1.36 02:50 dcamera 448( 338) -112 50 3.8 2.4 3.2 3.0 3.4 - 1.27 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 34 -13 17 355 (N) 325 clear none 17:00 33 -14 23 4 (N) 260 clear none 18:00 32 -8 24 27 (NNE) 204 clear none 19:00 33 -5 18 3 (N) 225 clear none 20:00 33 -4 16 34 (NE) 202 clear none 21:00 34 -3 23 17 (NNE) 214 clear none 22:00 34 -5 20 9 (N) 202 clear none 23:00 36 -5 23 26 (NNE) 206 clear none 00:00 37 -10 2 358 (N) 182 clear none 01:00 36 -10 11 2 (N) 250 clear none 02:00 38 -7 8 343 (NNW) 281 mstly clr none 03:00 39 -6 8 336 (NNW) 337 ptly cldy none 04:00 39 -7 1 51 (NE) 318 ptly cldy none 05:00 38 -9 4 294 (WNW) 298 ptly cldy none 06:00 38 -9 9 343 (NNW) 288 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
