With subarcsecond seeing nearly all night! We only had one small hiccup tonight with the telescope having difficulty tracking when we first moved to Jupiter. However, slewing below the target and coming at it from below fixed the problem and then there were no other issues for the night :D ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:30 ecamera 494( 180) 150 78 14.1 17.9 17.1 17.3 15.5 Clear 0.93 20:41 ecamera 338( -64) 197 78 15.0 16.0 15.7 15.2 14.6 Clear 0.77 23:55 APOLLO 425( 1667) 30 70 14.7 13.8 14.5 13.5 13.9 530 1.20 01:11 tcamera 387( 1172) -66 55 13.9 13.4 14.2 13.1 13.5 MK-s 0.96 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 68 28 9 242 (WSW) 2358 clear none 17:00 66 27 8 256 (WSW) 2434 clear none 18:00 63 27 6 226 (SW) 2219 clear none 19:00 58 23 3 178 (S) 1951 clear none 20:00 58 21 4 180 (S) 2013 clear none 21:00 59 20 2 149 (SSE) 1704 clear none 22:00 60 20 1 92 (E) 1583 clear none 23:00 58 20 5 91 (E) 1670 clear none 00:00 58 16 6 116 (ESE) 1111 clear none 01:00 56 13 9 131 (SE) 949 clear none 02:00 57 13 9 135 (SE) 810 clear none 03:00 57 13 7 185 (S) 848 clear none 04:00 58 14 2 188 (S) 620 clear none 05:00 58 15 7 139 (SE) 1004 clear none 06:00 57 14 8 115 (ESE) 955 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
