Oscillations in altitude occured around 21:20, was quickly resolved by slewing under target and coming back to it from below. Seeing improved after 22:00. At 03:07 we had another problem, different it seems. Altitude was not able to track dowards fast enough. Current was pinned near -10 amps. PR has been sent. Was resolved by 03:14. We were open all night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- nm02 T T/H 03:07 03:14 Altitude not able to track down fast enough ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:23 dcamera 678( 1088) 96 52 11.0 13.4 13.1 13.2 11.9 - 1.98 20:41 dcamera 439( 764) -17 56 10.5 11.8 11.8 11.6 10.5 - 1.41 21:40 dcamera 371( 656) -39 51 10.0 10.8 11.0 10.6 10.1 - 1.74 22:19 dcamera 364( 615) -5 58 9.0 10.2 10.4 9.5 9.6 - 1.47 01:15 tcamera 410( 960) 49 54 9.3 8.4 9.0 8.2 8.7 - 1.09 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 54 21 5 347 (NNW) 1537 clear none 17:00 53 24 7 346 (NNW) 1994 clear none 18:00 53 24 1 13 (NNE) 1936 clear none 19:00 55 24 12 60 (ENE) 1666 clear none 20:00 51 21 5 33 (NNE) 1513 clear none 21:00 50 19 2 258 (WSW) 1449 clear none 22:00 49 21 2 336 (NNW) 1746 clear none 23:00 49 20 5 344 (NNW) 1576 clear none 00:00 48 22 4 350 (N) 2220 clear none 01:00 49 20 11 335 (NNW) 1549 clear none 02:00 49 23 9 356 (N) 1944 clear none 03:00 53 14 4 8 (N) 879 clear none 04:00 54 11 15 19 (NNE) 758 clear none 05:00 53 12 14 25 (NNE) 961 clear none 06:00 53 21 15 15 (NNE) 1897 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
