No adjustment necessary. We then opened to start things cooling for a DIS slitviewer vs. focuser check, clouds showed up to challenge us in our attempt. Things looked like they were going to improve around 04:30 but clouds skimmed by us to our east, along with some lightning, and radar looked iffy. We gave up at 05:30. My Echelle IOL comp and flats were blank at the end of the night. I took a second set. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:39 dcamera 599( 1363) 169 62 18.8 21.1 20.3 20.7 19.2 -- 1.18 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 69 39 9 288 (WNW) 503 ptly cldy none 17:00 74 41 5 244 (WSW) 544 ptly cldy none 18:00 71 40 7 261 (W) 574 ptly cldy none 19:00 70 39 5 264 (W) 657 ptly cldy none 20:00 65 34 4 219 (SW) 883 ptly cldy none 21:00 65 33 5 242 (WSW) 718 mstly cldy none 22:00 64 35 9 265 (W) 670 cloudy none 23:00 64 30 2 292 (WNW) 913 cloudy none 00:00 64 34 9 73 (ENE) 704 cloudy none 01:00 58 29 21 71 (ENE) 601 cloudy none 02:00 59 29 21 73 (ENE) 459 cloudy none 03:00 62 30 5 104 (ESE) 458 cloudy none 04:00 62 31 2 245 (WSW) 796 ptly cldy none 05:00 62 31 9 183 (S) 615 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
