We were able to open at sunset. Seeing was not very good, as winds were from the east. It cleared out around 22:00 and seeing improved around 23:30. After change over the NA2 rotator did not move. A "tcc axis init rot" fixed it. Weather stayed calm the rest of the night. We were open all night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:54 APOLLO 375( 1976) -35 41 18.7 21.2 21.2 21.0 19.1 530 1.70 20:51 ecamera 333( 100) -32 62 18.1 19.5 19.8 19.3 18.2 clear 1.71 21:39 ecamera 335( 47) -26 54 17.3 18.2 18.8 18.1 17.4 clear 1.77 23:47 ecamera 423( 39) -5 57 16.1 16.3 16.9 16.2 16.1 clear 1.15 01:11 dcamera 432( 920) -60 83 16.1 15.5 16.2 15.3 15.4 - 1.29 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 73 46 7 239 (WSW) 1147 ptly cldy none 17:00 69 44 1 287 (WNW) 1171 ptly cldy none 18:00 71 46 5 254 (WSW) 1164 ptly cldy none 19:00 66 44 7 88 (E) 1182 ptly cldy none 20:00 65 41 10 110 (ESE) 1355 ptly cldy none 21:00 64 41 10 85 (E) 1467 mstly clr none 22:00 62 42 15 81 (E) 1465 clear none 23:00 62 43 14 108 (ESE) 1372 clear none 00:00 60 43 10 85 (E) 1344 clear none 01:00 61 41 8 96 (E) 1154 clear none 02:00 61 29 1 19 (NNE) 1276 clear none 03:00 60 27 1 326 (NW) 1348 clear none 04:00 62 29 5 259 (W) 1366 clear none 05:00 61 27 3 254 (WSW) 1332 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
