So I think it counts as time used for engineering even though the telescope was closed except for short time near dawn. Weather was usable all night. We got the computers and telescope and instruments mostly working together and confirmed basic system functionality. We will be in a good position to start more intensive on-sky engineering tomorrow night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 21:00 73 29 0 332 (NNW) 932 clear none 22:00 74 30 2 71 (ENE) 984 clear none 23:00 73 30 8 59 (ENE) 1030 clear none 00:00 73 30 3 83 (E) 1061 clear none 01:00 73 29 2 342 (NNW) 1005 mstly clr none 02:00 74 29 1 270 (W) 1114 ptly cldy none 03:00 68 37 18 145 (SE) 1485 ptly cldy none 04:00 68 38 16 156 (SSE) 1791 ptly cldy none 05:00 67 38 12 176 (S) 1738 ptly cldy none 06:00 67 35 15 165 (SSE) 1630 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
