They finally blew out around 22:30. We opened. Skies were partly cloudy, seeing was ok. Winds were calm. By 01:50 clouds had moved back in and rain was on the radar to the north and south of us, so we closed. The rain to the north died out, but the south system grew in intensity and became thunderstorms. We gave up around 5:00. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 22:37 dcamera 133( 749) 32 53 15.9 17.9 18.6 17.5 16.4 - 1.11 00:45 dcamera 457( 976) 92 61 15.5 15.9 16.8 15.6 15.7 - 1.26 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 67 34 6 214 (SW) 1461 cloudy lt rain 17:00 68 34 7 193 (SSW) 1693 cloudy none 18:00 69 34 5 193 (SSW) 2207 cloudy none 19:00 64 32 6 104 (ESE) 2250 cloudy none 20:00 63 31 7 78 (ENE) 1587 cloudy none 21:00 62 31 1 234 (SW) 2061 mstly cldy none 22:00 59 30 2 106 (ESE) 1982 ptly cldy none 23:00 60 30 7 92 (E) 3714 ptly cldy none 00:00 60 31 11 117 (ESE) 4127 ptly cldy none 01:00 60 28 7 136 (SE) 4117 ptly cldy none 02:00 59 29 5 97 (E) 3963 cloudy none 03:00 60 30 10 2 (N) 3629 mstly cldy none 04:00 58 29 15 62 (ENE) 3496 mstly cldy none 05:00 56 27 9 84 (E) 3811 mstly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
