We did not open at sunset due to this. Clouds and radar return plagued us until 02:30. There was a break/suckerhole large enough for us to make use of the clearing. Skies were mostly clear, winds were calm, seeing was fair. The suckerhole closed by 03:00 but at least we got a couple exposures in! More clouds and radar returns, then rain after 04:00. We did not open again. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 02:36 ecamera 301( -170) 86 69 12.0 14.5 14.8 14.6 13.5 clear 1.22 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 67 32 11 215 (SW) 2216 ptly cldy none 17:00 68 32 8 183 (S) 2282 ptly cldy none 18:00 68 32 12 206 (SSW) 2773 mstly cldy none 19:00 65 31 14 216 (SW) 2751 mstly cldy none 20:00 61 31 13 241 (WSW) 3104 mstly cldy none 21:00 59 31 9 226 (SW) 3005 mstly cldy none 22:00 59 31 11 213 (SSW) 2487 cloudy none 23:00 59 31 12 199 (SSW) 2932 cloudy none 00:00 58 31 13 207 (SSW) 2660 cloudy none 01:00 56 31 9 184 (S) 2434 ptly cldy none 02:00 57 31 9 188 (S) 2069 mstly clr none 03:00 56 30 9 197 (SSW) 1716 mstly cldy none 04:00 56 30 3 218 (SW) 1911 cloudy lt rain 05:00 56 31 5 254 (WSW) 2188 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
