It was on and off all night. There was a small window in A half and we opened long enough for JH07 to take one exposure. That's we saw of the sky all night. The seeing was good, though! Since we were weathered out, we were not able to test collimation, the new Sky Flat script or conduct a pointing model. We did the following tasks: - zeroed rotator (-0.005) - restarted hub - restarted tcc - restarted axis controller, alt, az - focus ecam - new ecam mask - new dcam masks for all slits In the afternoon I conducted the second training session with JHU. They discovered the ARCTIC 3x3 Quad mode error (when, after taking an exposure in 3x3 Quad, the binning cannot be changed until you change to LL mode). I added a note to the existing PR trail (1940). ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 21:50 ecamera 238( -45) 10 67 17.8 18.4 19.0 18.3 17.9 ND3 1.06 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 64 43 20 145 (SE) 999 cloudy rain 17:00 69 42 11 121 (ESE) 892 cloudy rain 18:00 67 37 13 270 (W) 855 cloudy rain 19:00 64 40 13 65 (ENE) 675 mstly cldy rain 20:00 65 41 17 72 (ENE) 786 mstly cldy rain 21:00 64 38 22 95 (E) 665 mstly cldy lt rain 22:00 64 39 20 110 (ESE) 968 mstly cldy none 23:00 64 38 26 127 (SE) 1255 mstly cldy none 00:00 64 38 22 120 (ESE) 1036 cloudy none 01:00 63 41 29 124 (SE) 1065 cloudy none 02:00 62 43 28 142 (SE) 1193 mstly cldy none 03:00 60 40 25 127 (SE) 1012 mstly cldy none 04:00 60 38 30 126 (SE) 848 mstly cldy rain 05:00 61 36 27 139 (SE) 715 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
