Nothing wrong found during checkout. Dome cameras have been down. PR was issued. First exposure of gcam showed no filters on menu. Did a paremeters to bring it back. Arctic filter scritp kept failing, don't know why, no time to figure it out so just focussed by hand. Skies stayed clear and calm, good seeing which improved after midnight. Dust started to get high by 03:00 but never exceeded safe levels. Press fans were turned on to combat the dust. We were open all night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:44 arctic 414( 1272) 61 46 15.8 19.1 18.6 18.4 16.2 SDSS_r 1.12 01:18 ecamera 404( -76) 187 62 14.6 14.2 14.9 14.1 14.2 nd1 1.14 02:43 ecamera 414( -90) 178 74 14.4 13.8 14.5 13.7 13.9 clear 0.82 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 71 24 17 241 (WSW) 626 clear none 17:00 71 25 15 215 (SW) 740 clear none 18:00 68 24 7 261 (W) 673 clear none 19:00 65 22 18 213 (SSW) 741 clear none 20:00 63 19 7 251 (WSW) 616 clear none 21:00 59 17 4 224 (SW) 660 clear none 22:00 59 16 12 144 (SE) 1950 clear none 23:00 60 17 17 138 (SE) 2506 clear none 00:00 58 16 18 134 (SE) 3008 clear none 01:00 59 16 20 138 (SE) 4605 clear none 02:00 57 20 17 133 (SE) 5103 clear none 03:00 58 22 17 148 (SSE) 4775 clear none 04:00 57 27 17 159 (SSE) 4764 clear none 05:00 56 32 21 149 (SSE) 4689 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
