This seemed to work so I had the observer rotate back to their proper position before the error. The error did kill the guider which needed to be restarted as well. Rotator worked fine the rest of the night. We had an Agile guiding issue, not sure what the problem was. Email sent describing it in more detail to Bill. It seemed to work fine for me once I took over the guiding. A tcc axis init did not re-init the rotator at the end of the night, when I was parking the telescope. I had to issue another axis init rot. I had stopped the drives so the observer could get sky flats. Other than pesky cirrus clouds we had a pretty good night. Seeing also improved during the night (I manually tweaked it on the fly). ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:25 tcamera 437( 767) -23 61 1.0 3.8 4.5 3.3 1.5 Ks 1.24 20:03 AGILE 612(-1617) 13 56 -0.1 0.4 1.4 0.3 -0.1 BG40 1.75 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 41 22 12 75 (ENE) 618 clear none 17:00 39 21 15 76 (ENE) 618 mstly clr none 18:00 35 23 16 67 (ENE) 571 mstly clr none 19:00 33 25 18 70 (ENE) 525 mstly clr none 20:00 32 24 19 80 (E) 615 clear none 21:00 31 25 17 92 (E) 897 mstly clr none 22:00 30 24 11 93 (E) 1012 mstly clr none 23:00 30 24 16 112 (ESE) mstly clr none 00:00 32 17 15 117 (ESE) 811 ptly cldy none 01:00 35 9 21 132 (SE) 692 ptly cldy none 02:00 34 9 21 135 (SE) 667 mstly clr none 03:00 35 9 20 146 (SE) 618 mstly clr none 04:00 34 13 21 131 (SE) 572 mstly clr none 05:00 35 11 20 146 (SE) 530 mstly clr none 06:00 34 4 19 153 (SSE) 547 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
