Seeing varied through the night, but grew good after midnight. Shortly after 2 clouds came in. Radar showed a lot of rain in those clouds, so we closed. Rain receeded on radar around 04:45 but the skies continued to be overcast. We did not open again. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:40 arctic 773( 1151) 28 52 7.4 9.0 9.1 8.6 7.7 CU_H-alpha 1.15 21:11 arctic 781( 1090) 191 50 7.8 7.5 8.6 7.0 7.3 JC_I 2.22 01:31 NICFPS 515( 1289) 212 55 7.5 6.8 8.0 6.8 7.0 MK-H 0.75 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 52 25 12 244 (WSW) 180 clear none 17:00 51 21 18 215 (SW) 238 clear none 18:00 49 23 18 209 (SSW) 317 clear none 19:00 45 22 19 211 (SSW) 458 mstly clr none 20:00 45 20 15 202 (SSW) 436 mstly clr none 21:00 46 14 13 221 (SW) 268 mstly clr none 22:00 47 12 14 225 (SW) 154 mstly clr none 23:00 47 12 19 213 (SSW) 194 mstly clr none 00:00 46 15 17 208 (SSW) 236 mstly clr none 01:00 46 15 14 203 (SSW) 231 mstly clr none 02:00 45 15 20 209 (SSW) 299 ptly cldy none 03:00 45 20 17 201 (SSW) 352 mstly cldy none 04:00 44 22 18 199 (SSW) 267 cloudy none 05:00 43 27 19 194 (SSW) 264 cloudy none 06:00 44 21 16 192 (SSW) 223 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
