Unfortunately, I missed a sign that not everything was right with arctic, and we had to address issues in semi-panic mode. Thanks to Russet, Bill and Conor we were able to get a solution that allowed CU09's program to not be affected. Skies were mostly clear with good seeing all night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 19:30 tcamera 685( 1104) 88 70 3.2 5.8 4.7 5.6 4.0 - 1.08 20:55 tcamera 501( 877) 215 38 5.1 4.5 4.7 4.3 4.7 - 1.00 22:06 arctic 551( 708) 225 48 5.0 4.2 4.7 4.1 4.6 UNM657-3 1.10 01:08 ecamera 515( -445) 63 75 5.1 4.2 4.8 4.3 4.7 ND1 0.86 05:58 ecamera 386( -532) 15 63 5.1 4.9 5.1 5.1 5.2 clear 1.01 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 44 32 19 211 (SSW) 209 mstly clr none 17:00 45 28 16 229 (SW) 236 mstly clr none 18:00 43 28 14 222 (SW) 247 mstly clr none 19:00 40 27 13 209 (SSW) 337 mstly clr none 20:00 41 19 16 219 (SW) 312 mstly clr none 21:00 41 20 10 265 (W) 192 mstly clr none 22:00 41 20 13 233 (SW) 198 mstly clr none 23:00 41 21 9 218 (SW) 200 mstly clr none 00:00 41 25 17 205 (SSW) 242 mstly clr none 01:00 41 25 15 184 (S) 282 mstly clr none 02:00 41 25 12 173 (S) 308 mstly clr none 03:00 40 25 15 176 (S) 225 mstly clr none 04:00 39 30 21 165 (SSE) 319 mstly clr none 05:00 41 30 20 151 (SSE) 338 mstly clr none 06:00 42 28 21 166 (SSE) 326 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
