And with it came a hell of a shoveling work out! We got another 4-5 inches after 4pm. Walkways and the dome catwalk were shoveled (snow blower was used on the walkways). However, the snow is so powdery that less than two minutes after being cleared in low winds, the 3.5m catwalk was covered in snow that had blown off the roof. In total, I think we received around 10-12 inches of snow. It stopped snowing a little before 3 am and the skies cleared (though the humidity stayed high). I parked the dome south though we are not expected to get above freezing until Thursday. I missed that afternoon fills were not done but I filled all the instrument at 2:45am and there were no issues. We went on generator power at 20:45 and came back to utility at 2:40. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 24 23 17 264 (W) cloudy snow 17:00 23 22 15 272 (W) cloudy snow 18:00 23 22 16 259 (W) cloudy snow 19:00 23 21 12 247 (WSW) cloudy snow 20:00 22 20 13 314 (NW) cloudy snow 21:00 21 20 8 266 (W) cloudy snow 22:00 20 19 6 261 (W) cloudy snow 23:00 20 18 1 223 (SW) cloudy snow 00:00 19 17 1 226 (SW) cloudy snow 01:00 18 16 1 11 (N) cloudy snow 02:00 18 15 5 11 (N) mstly cldy lt snow 03:00 17 15 5 356 (N) mstly clr humid 04:00 16 14 5 8 (N) mstly clr humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
