Dataq had to be restared from the server end. Clouds thinned out as the night progressed. Seeing was fair. Winds were low. Starting around 20:00 the winds really picked up. They did not exceed closure conditions, however, but we had to avoid the northeast. It cleared up completely by 23:00. Winds died down somewhat as well. Winds returned after midnight, though they did not surpass safety limits. We stayed open all night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:15 tcamera 525( 692) 115 73 -1.6 0.5 0.5 0.6 -1.0 - 1.39 19:54 tcamera 377( 589) 54 66 -3.1 -2.9 -2.3 -3.0 -3.2 - 1.30 00:13 ecamera 452( -785) 59 44 -1.3 -2.1 -2.2 -2.2 -1.5 ND1 1.24 05:48 APOLLO 525( 1080) -25 67 -0.4 -0.8 -0.4 -0.8 -0.4 530 1.10 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 31 5 14 68 (ENE) 334 ptly cldy none 17:00 30 9 9 59 (ENE) 368 ptly cldy none 18:00 28 10 9 54 (NE) 333 mstly clr none 19:00 27 11 2 109 (ESE) 351 mstly clr none 20:00 27 12 27 51 (NE) 349 ptly cldy none 21:00 27 12 24 64 (ENE) 370 ptly cldy none 22:00 27 11 20 59 (ENE) 254 ptly cldy none 23:00 26 10 11 51 (NE) 253 clear none 00:00 29 8 28 74 (ENE) 127 clear none 01:00 30 6 28 67 (ENE) 100 clear none 02:00 31 5 20 65 (ENE) 133 clear none 03:00 30 4 16 63 (ENE) 208 clear none 04:00 31 5 13 54 (NE) 325 clear none 05:00 32 5 22 28 (NNE) 276 clear none 06:00 32 5 20 35 (NE) 271 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
