I thought we might be able to get in a couple hours but we were only able to get in about one. NM05 donated their first hour to NM02 and, well, NM05 didn't get anything. Though, given the weather, I doubt they would have anyway as a mag 10 star was hard to see. The night continued with cloud, intermittent rain, high winds (45 mph) some dust, and general weather tomfoolery. We were not able to open again. No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:40 ecamera 500( -78) 228 73 10.7 12.2 12.1 12.2 10.9 ND1 0.87 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 54 27 22 234 (SW) 1004 ptly cldy none 17:00 52 25 27 203 (SSW) 1227 mstly cldy none 18:00 52 26 20 201 (SSW) 1656 mstly cldy none 19:00 51 24 22 207 (SSW) 1120 cloudy lt rain 20:00 49 24 21 198 (SSW) 1158 cloudy none 21:00 49 25 30 199 (SSW) 1382 cloudy none 22:00 49 25 26 200 (SSW) 1469 cloudy none 23:00 47 32 26 196 (SSW) 1750 cloudy none 00:00 45 32 25 212 (SSW) 4812 cloudy dust 01:00 45 32 28 219 (SW) 2639 cloudy dust 02:00 45 32 21 228 (SW) 1285 cloudy lt rain 03:00 42 32 30 208 (SSW) cloudy humid 04:00 44 32 35 234 (SW) 1179 cloudy lt rain 05:00 43 32 29 210 (SSW) 1337 cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
