We had some irritating high clouds at the beginning of the night, but they pretty much cleared up by 21:00. We did have to point away from the wind around 01:45. Otherwise, it was a pretty uneventful night, and we closed up around 06:00. DD02 was still running DIS calibrations when I went to bed, but they should be done within a couple hours. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 17:52 dcamera 352( 515) 115 50 5.5 8.1 8.1 8.2 5.6 -- 1.38 21:21 dcamera 519( 512) -8 59 4.9 4.7 5.4 4.7 4.7 -- 1.23 00:14 dcamera 541( 493) 1 75 3.9 4.0 4.6 4.2 4.1 -- 1.48 02:49 dcamera 533( 409) 156 58 2.9 2.2 3.3 2.7 2.9 -- 1.52 Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 46 18 13 239 (WSW) 793 ptly cldy none 17:00 42 19 10 226 (SW) 793 mstly cldy none 18:00 42 19 9 212 (SSW) 755 ptly cldy none 19:00 42 19 13 228 (SW) 748 mstly clr none 20:00 41 18 13 256 (WSW) 1086 mstly clr none 21:00 41 18 14 250 (WSW) 1040 clear none 22:00 41 19 12 264 (W) 928 clear none 23:00 41 20 16 266 (W) 942 clear none 00:00 40 22 16 258 (WSW) 993 clear none 01:00 39 26 20 266 (W) 966 clear none 02:00 37 22 17 263 (W) 798 clear none 03:00 38 15 17 268 (W) 411 clear none 04:00 37 14 14 266 (W) 420 clear none 05:00 37 17 15 267 (W) 442 clear none 06:00 37 18 20 267 (W) 436 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
