Evening started humid but that blew out shortly after sunset. Winds were high, though. Arctic dropped a quad after an init. It was warmed up to bring the quad back, then set back to normal settings. NA2 was zeroed. Alt,az,rot1 and rot2 axis controllers were reset. DIS focus was left alone. Echelle focus was adjusted. Echelle shitmasks done. DIS slitmasks done. Humidity and winds died down enough we tried an opening around 23:00. Did an instrument block for dcam. Ran a pointing model, did not implement. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 23:16 dcamera 460( 198) 6 58 -0.7 -0.7 -0.4 -0.9 -0.7 - 2.76 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 26 24 28 26 (NNE) ptly cldy humid 17:00 27 25 15 29 (NNE) ptly cldy humid 18:00 26 25 23 36 (NE) mstly clr none 19:00 30 24 32 44 (NE) mstly clr none 20:00 35 25 21 19 (NNE) 147 mstly clr none 21:00 33 25 29 21 (NNE) 132 mstly clr none 22:00 32 26 15 37 (NE) mstly clr none 23:00 31 25 17 14 (NNE) 159 mstly clr none 00:00 34 24 29 44 (NE) 264 mstly clr none 01:00 33 24 28 54 (NE) 120 mstly clr none 02:00 32 24 14 52 (NE) 92 mstly clr none 03:00 32 24 10 38 (NE) 416 mstly clr none 04:00 31 24 2 125 (SE) 93 mstly clr none 05:00 31 24 10 84 (E) 110 mstly clr none 06:00 33 24 19 64 (ENE) 77 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
