Seeing was good during first half and less good second half. I had trouble with the ARCTIC filter door again, which also intersected with a filter wheel problem which would have been minor, but every time I wiggled the wheel I had to dismount the instrument in order to close the filter door, so that cost some time. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- NM09 R I/H 02:10 02:35 ARCTIC filter door won't close with inst mounted ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:18 arctic 495( 374) 25 55 -2.2 -1.6 -1.6 -2.1 -2.2 SDSS_i 1.23 02:43 arctic 495( 432) 138 47 2.7 -0.5 -0.1 -0.3 1.2 NMSU645 1.93 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 27 12 3 344 (NNW) 173 clear none 17:00 27 9 22 353 (N) 148 clear none 18:00 27 3 20 14 (NNE) 92 clear none 19:00 30 -2 16 359 (N) 91 clear none 20:00 31 -2 21 15 (NNE) 93 clear none 21:00 30 -1 19 9 (N) 72 clear none 22:00 31 2 25 13 (NNE) 66 mstly clr none 23:00 30 -1 31 21 (NNE) 51 clear none 00:00 30 0 15 16 (NNE) 73 clear none 01:00 29 0 14 14 (NNE) 74 clear none 02:00 31 -2 25 23 (NNE) 32 clear none 03:00 38 2 14 56 (NE) 30 clear none 04:00 37 2 14 61 (ENE) 39 clear none 05:00 37 2 5 148 (SSE) 34 clear none 06:00 37 1 4 173 (S) 34 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
