Skies somewhat cleared during the later part of the 2nd half (around 2AM) but the winds (and occasionally humidity spike) kept us closed. I ran the snow program until 04:30AM and parked the telescope due south to help melt ice/snow on the roof during the daytime. (My observer gave up at 04:15). ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 28 26 18 268 (W) 3771 cloudy lt snow 17:00 27 27 12 340 (NNW) cloudy fog 18:00 26 25 9 7 (N) cloudy humid 19:00 26 25 15 303 (WNW) cloudy humid 20:00 26 26 20 301 (WNW) cloudy humid 21:00 25 25 20 331 (NNW) cloudy humid 22:00 24 24 11 352 (N) ptly cldy humid 23:00 21 18 32 309 (NW) ptly cldy lt snow 00:00 21 15 19 355 (N) ptly cldy lt snow 01:00 21 15 15 2 (N) mstly clr humid 02:00 20 16 22 11 (N) clear humid 03:00 20 16 23 12 (NNE) clear none 04:00 20 15 34 28 (NNE) clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
