Seeing was good throughout. We had a delay at the start of the night due to the ARCTIC bug where it doesn't like subframes with odd dimensions. And another delay at changeover when I had trouble getting ARCTIC's filter wheel door to close. Aside from those short interruptions everything went smoothly. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- FAILURE MODE TIME PROG INSTR TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- UV01 R I/S 18:51 18:59 odd-size subframe bug NM08 R I/H 00:03 00:07 ARCTIC filter door stickage ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18:03 arctic 446( 568) 58 41 1.2 3.4 3.0 2.7 1.4 JCV 0.79 00:22 arctic 469( 454) 46 53 0.6 0.6 1.3 0.8 0.9 sdss_r 0.95 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 40 18 7 289 (WNW) 156 ptly cldy none 17:00 35 20 7 253 (WSW) 191 ptly cldy none 18:00 34 13 9 304 (NW) 150 ptly cldy none 19:00 33 17 6 338 (NNW) 176 ptly cldy none 20:00 35 14 8 274 (W) 103 ptly cldy none 21:00 37 10 8 266 (W) 51 ptly cldy none 22:00 36 9 11 237 (WSW) 62 mstly cldy none 23:00 34 18 12 322 (NW) 168 mstly cldy none 00:00 34 20 15 284 (WNW) 235 mstly cldy none 01:00 33 21 16 300 (WNW) 243 ptly cldy none 02:00 32 21 15 304 (NW) 230 ptly cldy none 03:00 32 21 12 287 (WNW) 192 mstly clr none 04:00 32 21 17 315 (NW) 196 clear none 05:00 33 21 20 322 (NW) 131 clear none 06:00 33 23 14 324 (NW) 138 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
