I restarted it. Vacuum settled to around 2x10^-6 torr after about 25 mins. I reset the NA2-rotator controller tonight (again). I went up to zero the rotator during checkout, it looked a little off from the mark on the tape. The rotator would not move when commanded via talk2boxes. That let me to reset the NA2-rotator controller, which fixed the issue. Rotator was found off by -0.140 deg. I leveled it and reset it back to zero. DIS red HV was fine at 04:30, when I did my end of night fills. Clouds & Thunderstorms kept us closed all night. My 2nd half observer gave up, due to weather, at 04:15 with completely cloudy skies. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 71 49 8 227 (SW) 208 cloudy lt rain 17:00 62 53 9 218 (SW) 389 cloudy lt rain 18:00 62 51 7 189 (S) 221 cloudy none 19:00 61 50 7 162 (SSE) 206 cloudy none 20:00 62 49 1 141 (SE) 213 cloudy none 21:00 61 48 2 194 (SSW) 221 mstly cldy none 22:00 60 47 8 145 (SE) 220 mstly cldy none 23:00 60 47 13 133 (SE) 233 cloudy lt rain 00:00 59 47 11 147 (SSE) 190 cloudy rain 01:00 51 51 4 314 (NW) cloudy rain 02:00 51 49 3 7 (N) cloudy rain 03:00 52 47 9 149 (SSE) cloudy none 04:00 56 48 3 193 (SSW) cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
