Not a terrible night but not great. Seeing was....awful, just awful. At one point I think Sloan was reporting 4.5". We were over 3" for a good long while and never got below 2". It was clear nearly all night with some light clouds at the end. Humidity rose around 2am but didn't make the seeing any worse. At 22:22, when we switched to the echelle we found that half of the ecam image was reading out like a dark. We tried an init and power cycle but were not able to bring it back. Unfortunately we were not able to complete the echelle observations for the UW class so we switched back to Arctic to continue other observations. We used the eyepiece for a little over an hour but the seeing was so poor and the students were tired so we ended a little bit early and UW06 was able to grab a few extra minutes. The following students are now considered trained!
