Echelle started giving images of all zeros about 19:15. A restart of the ICC was performed. Seemed to fix it. Humidity spiked at 19:30. Humidity persisted until 02:00. At that point humidity dropped, but the cloud cover was too thick for observations. High humidity returned again at 03:00. The observer called it quits shortly before 04:00. We did not open at all. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 59 49 6 15 (NNE) 204 cloudy lt rain 17:00 60 48 12 131 (SE) 215 cloudy none 18:00 57 50 10 82 (E) 267 cloudy none 19:00 55 50 17 84 (E) cloudy humid 20:00 54 51 17 77 (ENE) cloudy humid 21:00 54 51 14 77 (ENE) cloudy humid 22:00 54 50 19 76 (ENE) cloudy humid 23:00 53 50 22 76 (ENE) cloudy humid 00:00 53 50 10 91 (E) cloudy humid 01:00 52 50 13 94 (E) cloudy humid 02:00 54 47 9 93 (E) cloudy none 03:00 52 49 7 114 (ESE) cloudy humid 04:00 51 49 5 114 (ESE) cloudy humid 05:00 53 47 10 146 (SE) cloudy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
