The rain didn't last too long, but the clouds persisted and were too thick to be worth opening. The clouds slowly dissipated enough that we opened at 12:30 AM, getting about an hour of usable skies. But clouds kept forming over us after 1:30 intermittently. They finally cleared up a decent amount after 3:30. No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 00:36 ecamera 271( -152) 52 47 14.8 15.2 15.4 15.2 14.8 Clear 0.96 01:31 ecamera 354( -86) 103 29 14.7 14.6 14.9 14.4 14.3 Clear 1.54 03:38 ecamera 364( -168) -34 53 12.8 13.1 13.5 12.8 12.9 Clear 1.13 05:19 ecamera 379( -131) -58 43 15.1 13.3 14.0 13.1 14.0 ND2 0.82 Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 65 39 7 91 (E) 276 cloudy none 17:00 67 39 12 59 (ENE) 330 cloudy none 18:00 66 43 5 49 (NE) 547 cloudy none 19:00 63 44 4 106 (ESE) 489 cloudy none 20:00 60 43 11 86 (E) 470 cloudy rain 21:00 56 42 10 123 (ESE) cloudy lt rain 22:00 60 42 2 215 (SW) 374 cloudy none 23:00 56 45 9 187 (S) 284 cloudy none 00:00 59 40 6 193 (SSW) 263 mstly cldy none 01:00 58 44 10 189 (S) 389 mstly cldy none 02:00 57 45 6 190 (S) 581 ptly cldy none 03:00 54 43 9 181 (S) 260 ptly cldy none 04:00 59 45 2 244 (WSW) 509 mstly clr none 05:00 56 45 1 327 (NNW) 459 clear none 06:00 56 45 10 347 (NNW) 486 clear none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
