I set it to open and ran the script again and it was fine. The weather, however, was not. We had some pretty good storms all night with lots of nearby lightning that caused a few flickers (but not any power outages). I thought for sure things would clear up by 4:30 but the clouds just kept forming over us and we were never able to open :( I would like to note that I had the worst moth scum on the alt drive that I've ever experienced. It was at least 3 moths (??!!) and it took multiple assists (pulling up on the ladder) to walk our fair lady far enough to scrub out the guts. IT STREAKED THE FULL ALT RANGE!!! I *think* I got it all off but I wouldn't be surprised if I had issues with test slews tomorrow. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 68 45 5 189 (S) 917 mstly cldy none 17:00 71 42 6 261 (W) 637 mstly cldy none 18:00 67 44 6 185 (S) 970 cloudy none 19:00 57 46 8 12 (NNE) 3313 cloudy rain 20:00 54 44 10 92 (E) 650 cloudy rain 21:00 56 44 25 71 (ENE) 314 cloudy rain 22:00 55 44 8 213 (SSW) 369 cloudy lt rain 23:00 51 33 13 114 (ESE) 722 cloudy lt rain 00:00 52 30 17 81 (E) 1387 cloudy none 01:00 52 28 17 82 (E) 1576 cloudy lt rain 02:00 52 28 16 74 (ENE) 1426 cloudy rain 03:00 51 30 8 100 (E) 708 cloudy humid 04:00 53 29 6 184 (S) 1074 cloudy humid 05:00 54 29 6 226 (SW) 1152 cloudy humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
