Funny enough, we didn't actually get any rain, but it fell all around us. I thought the night was a goner but, shortly before 1am, the winds kicked up and the storm completely cleared...for a few hours. JH02 wasn't able to use the remaining time (they needed at least an hour) and donated 0.4 hr to CU05. Seeing was good but clouds started rolling in around 4am and we stopped early due to threat of rain. No problems tonight. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 23:48 tcamera 428( 1168) 170 73 15.8 15.9 16.1 15.9 15.7 -- 1.17 01:16 tcamera 509( 1254) -1 52 16.4 15.7 16.1 15.6 16.1 -- 1.05 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 62 33 8 93 (E) 527 cloudy none 17:00 65 33 11 86 (E) 528 cloudy none 18:00 66 34 11 114 (ESE) 543 cloudy none 19:00 64 33 9 92 (E) 563 cloudy none 20:00 64 32 11 100 (E) 633 cloudy none 21:00 61 28 16 20 (NNE) 669 cloudy none 22:00 58 28 22 39 (NE) 676 cloudy none 23:00 59 27 24 75 (ENE) 790 cloudy none 00:00 60 28 12 93 (E) 839 clear none 01:00 61 28 13 105 (ESE) 1451 clear none 02:00 62 27 10 141 (SE) 1667 mstly clr none 03:00 61 26 13 137 (SE) 1606 ptly cldy none 04:00 60 26 9 175 (S) 1530 ptly cldy none 05:00 59 32 9 171 (S) 1363 ptly cldy none 06:00 59 32 8 178 (S) 1561 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
