Seeing was good. We ran a pointing model, and implemented it. We also tested the wind vs alt problem, see emails. After apollo, we finished adjusting the spectrographic vs slitviewer focus on DIS. We had hoped to do throughput tests, but high thin clouds began to come in around 3:45. We were open all night, no problems. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 02:17 dcamera 474( 1003) 0 59 16.4 16.1 16.7 15.9 16.2 - 1.18 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 66 45 11 93 (E) 201 mstly cldy lt rain 17:00 64 45 15 84 (E) 214 mstly cldy none 18:00 63 45 13 78 (ENE) 142 ptly cldy none 19:00 64 44 8 99 (E) 148 ptly cldy none 20:00 62 44 10 90 (E) 158 ptly cldy none 21:00 63 41 8 89 (E) 171 ptly cldy none 22:00 65 39 6 177 (S) 203 mstly clr none 23:00 60 43 10 91 (E) 223 clear none 00:00 60 43 9 87 (E) 199 clear none 01:00 62 41 8 70 (ENE) 241 clear none 02:00 62 39 10 85 (E) 232 clear none 03:00 60 43 11 79 (E) 282 mstly clr none 04:00 60 43 8 90 (E) 366 mstly clr none 05:00 62 41 6 94 (E) 305 mstly clr none 06:00 63 41 5 11 (N) 286 mstly clr none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
