Axis controllers reset, NA2 zeroed out. Collimation was done with good results. We worked on the DIS slit focus. Some problems there, but by the end of the night it seemed to be ironed out. Will check with Russet tomorrow to make sure results are acceptable. We were open all night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- 20:46 dcamera 451( 1179) -19 66 17.4 20.3 20.0 20.1 18.1 - 1.31 21:17 dcamera 501( 1166) 186 42 17.6 18.7 19.0 18.1 17.7 - 1.43 21:22 dcamera 515( 1164) 322 62 17.6 18.8 18.9 18.0 17.6 - 1.14 22:10 dcamera 377( 1004) 287 54 17.6 18.1 18.4 17.6 17.6 - 1.37 23:21 dcamera 393( 1003) 275 40 17.8 17.6 18.0 17.4 17.7 - 1.48 23:34 shack 350( 1672) 323 63 18.3 17.5 18.0 17.4 17.7 - 1.20 00:22 dcamera 425( 1016) 0 58 18.3 17.4 17.9 17.3 17.6 - 1.07 01:03 dcamera 532( 1119) -19 56 18.0 17.3 17.8 17.2 17.4 - 1.07 ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 72 41 11 306 (NW) 335 ptly cldy none 17:00 71 40 5 323 (NW) 322 ptly cldy none 18:00 70 39 11 325 (NW) 362 ptly cldy none 19:00 68 39 9 303 (WNW) 305 ptly cldy none 20:00 66 39 7 288 (WNW) 298 ptly cldy none 21:00 63 41 14 16 (NNE) 508 ptly cldy none 22:00 64 41 13 8 (N) 288 ptly cldy none 23:00 63 41 14 18 (NNE) 288 ptly cldy none 00:00 64 38 11 17 (NNE) 296 ptly cldy none 01:00 64 37 12 17 (NNE) 255 ptly cldy none 02:00 64 37 12 28 (NNE) 261 ptly cldy none 03:00 63 37 11 34 (NE) 279 ptly cldy none 04:00 64 40 16 55 (NE) 328 ptly cldy none 05:00 63 40 16 67 (ENE) 313 ptly cldy none 06:00 64 39 12 67 (ENE) 309 ptly cldy none Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
