The clouds broke around midnight, but it turned out to be a suckerhole that only lasted 15 minutes, then back to clouds. Clouds began to break up around 02:00, but humidity remained high. At that time I did sneak an arcsat opening for 15 minutes so I could test pointing, it is now pointing well. Humidity remained too high to for the 3.5 to open, even if we were to push the limits. When humidity finally began to drop around 04:30 it was paired with an increase in clouds, such that even the moon was obscurred, so we called it a night. ------- FAILURE LOG ------- PROG INST FAILURE MODE TIME (SEDFNVOG) TI/SHU START FINISH DESCRIPTION ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- FOCUS LOG --------------- Time Instrument Focus Az El Temp Strc Prim Sec Air filt FWHM -------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------- WEATHER LOG ---------------- Wind Precip.or Time Temp F Dewp F MPH Direction Dust Sky Conditions ------------------------------------------------------------------ 16:00 55 53 6 144 (SE) 534 cloudy rain 17:00 56 53 8 109 (ESE) 468 cloudy lt rain 18:00 54 51 11 88 (E) 495 cloudy rain 19:00 54 51 16 84 (E) 534 cloudy lt rain 20:00 55 51 16 111 (ESE) 545 cloudy lt rain 21:00 54 51 11 82 (E) 598 cloudy lt rain 22:00 54 52 12 80 (E) 667 cloudy humid 23:00 53 52 8 77 (ENE) 724 ptly cldy humid 00:00 53 52 14 67 (ENE) 765 cloudy humid 01:00 53 51 11 79 (E) 603 mstly cldy humid 02:00 53 51 10 82 (E) 632 ptly cldy humid 03:00 52 51 6 95 (E) 632 ptly cldy humid 04:00 52 50 8 86 (E) 613 mstly cldy humid Note: the wind was coming from the azimuth listed.
